Join us for an unforgettable experience!
The 13th annual FOE BBQ Cookoff is an event unlike any other where we bring together amateur barbeque enthusiast with experienced BBQ Veterans and BBQ Pit Masters to rub elbows and throw down to see who is really the best, all while raising money for charity.
All proceeds benefit the Dallas Children's Advocacy Center

With the price of admission, event attendees get:
- BBQ samples from 18-20 BBQ Teams
- Voting tickets for "People's Choice"
- Live music
- Vendor Showcase with 10-12 carefully curated local artisans, craft workers, and creatives
- Swimming in a Junior Olympic size pool
- Amazing Drink Specials
Attendance & Demographics
This event consistently attracts between 400 and 500 people including BBQ teams, event attendees, sponsors, and volunteers. This is a family-friendly fundraiser where people are ready to have a great time, enjoy some cold drinks, eat amazing BBQ, and spend some money!
Unique and creative artisans and crafters would be at home in this diverse and eclectic environment!
VENDOR INFORMATION & SELECTION CRITERIA
Space & Pricing
- $75 for 10 x 10 Space which includes one complimentary event admission wristband.
- You must provide your own 10 x 10 pop up canopy with weights on each leg.
- All items should be contained within your space, with the exception of a sandwich board (or similar).
- Power hookups are not provided or available.
- This is an outdoor event!
What we look for:
- High-quality products
- Unique items that stand on their own at a crowded event
- Accessible price points
- Friendly, positive, outgoing, and enthusiastic sellers
We will consider:
- Locally based creatives, makers, and brands (within 50 miles of location). You must have products you sell, or have a hand in design of your products.
- Clothing boutiques. We would prefer to have a very curated selection of boutiques with a focus on clothing. Jewelry and Accessories only when the artisan goods to be sold are made or designed by the seller.
- Vintage. Clothing or vinyl records.
- Cottage Food Vendors. A select amount of cottage food sellers will be selected at this market. The event committee has requested that the offerings not compete with the BBQ cookoff event. Sweets/Desserts might be a good contrast to barbeque.
We will not consider:
- Food Trucks.
- Products where non-handmade items are purchased wholesale and modified by adding vinyl stickers, ink transfers or resin.
- Direct sales, multi-level marketing, or affiliate marketing companies (Scentsy, Herbalife, Young Living, Mary Kay, Pampered Chef, etc.)
- CBD Oils or Essential Oils
- Vendors advertising or performing services, such as holistic health coaches or tarot reading.
